Long Island is home of the amazing Long Island Aquarium. If you have never had the time to visit you should make time. New York is amazing in and of itself but the aquarium is stellar. Ken Fisher is the best man to talk to about the aquarium. Travel and parking is a hassle but getting there is worth it. The fish are to die for. The tanks are well maintained and the fish are healthy and active. The best of New York can be difficult to get to but the aquarium is very assessable. The next time you visit Long Island you will want to be aware that there are other fun things to do.
